About the Synth Geekery Show

Synth Geekery is a weekly podcast/live stream (YouTube) show about everything synthesizers, drum machines, samplers, sequencers, eurorack and music technology. We take the “one of the masses” viewpoint, where we are also users of gear just like you (read: we’re not influenced by commercial product placement).

Something Modular Voyager

8HP VCF Module for Eurorack. Transister ladder filter with gain compensation at high resonance. Slope selection of 6, 12, 18 or 24 db. There are VV controls for cutoff and resonance. It also has dual audio outputs for pole mixing.

Schottkey DC Power

Schottkey is a power supply module for eurorack. It is available in 2 versions: 30W and 45W. This is a handy module if your skiff runs out of power and you need some more juice to run extra modules. You can connect a flying-bus cable or use the molex connector on the back to connect to a bus board. It also features a USB power connect on the front to allow for powering 5V USB devices.

Tubbutec TRS-Bridge

TRS Bridge is a 6HP 4 I/O MIDI TRS to split or merge MIDI data . Use the module to route, split and merge MIDI streams. It accepts both Type A&B at it’s inputs. There is also 8 different routing settings that can be saved and recalled.

G Storm Electro Spring Reverb V2

The Spring Tank Reverb is a second iteration from G Storm Electro. The 4HP module is for Eurorack and can be connected to a variety of different spring reverb tanks. It features CV control of the wet/dry mix and the new V2 featurs is the Feedback control. There is also a drive trimmer you can set on the PCB.
