Blue Lantern Modules – Gimme Some Wave Table

This is a complete synthesizer used to produce electronic percussion sounds. The core sound generator is digital, running Sheep Firmware. The sound generator is wave table based. This is very easy to use.
No menu diving.
The envelopes and output vca stage are analog.
You can connect an external electronic drum pad to trigger this module. You can also just use your modular system’s trigger or gate signals. There is a handy manual trigger button also.
-middle key button selects among 3 wave table banks
-far right button selects: slow lfo mode, sub harmonic vco mode, or normal vco speed mode.
-far left button is a manual trigger.
The key cap mechanical buttons are better than my competitors illuminated travel buttons.
-two envelope decay generators. One for amplification, and one for pitch.
-two wave table scan parameter knobs
-toggle switch modulation selector, to send decay generators to ‘drive’ parameter. This creates a ‘paper’ sound. Similar to a snare drum head.

Blue Lantern Modules – Phrog

This is an analog filter with a separate 3 channel mono mixer, and VCA combo. There is also an internal envelope generator with Decay. All this product needs is a VCO and a trigger signal to complete a mini voice.
The outputs on the filter are meant to be manually patched into one of the VCA audio inputs on the module to complete the mini voice. You can mix and match to create custom filter types.
The Feedback on the product ‘Rez’, is what makes this sound like an MS20 filter. There are diodes, used as a limiter, and also to wave shape when in self oscillation mode.
Features:
-2 audio inputs with 2 level control knobs.
-Bi-polar FM for the filter.
-Mod input with level knob for the filter.
-FCV Filter CV direct input for the filter.
All CV inputs for the Filter are 1V per octave, Exponential.
-REZ CV
-VOLT CUT output. +5v/5v output. Used to remote control another filter, with the master ‘Cut’ knob.
-Internal Envelope Generator, with Level Sends to VCA and Filter.
-Separate VCA circuit, with 3 channel mono mixer input.
-1 CV input for the VCA. ‘VCV’.
-1 VCA output.
The filter will self oscillate into a sine wave and does track 1v per octave.

NoodleVolt Spinner

This is essentially a manual LFO, which spins down organically over time. Our analog circuit responds differently than similar designs you might have seen which use distance sensors or light sensors to trigger a pulse. The CV input is powered with a vactrol-controlled attenuator. It can go into audio rate for modulation with gritty FM style tones depending on how hard you spin the spinner. Ours also has a buffer meaning it is not passive to ensure the strongest signal for all modules to better interact with each other. We tried several revisions that were passive and they never responded as musically with other modules. This is one of the other things the Noodle Spinner v1.5 provides that others do not.
This current build is entirely custom, all through-hole, and each one has been hand-wired. We have tested each unit carefully to ensure the highest quality during the calibration process.
