Microsoft Surface Pro with Ableton Live, Arturia Audio Fuse and an OP-1

Trying out the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 with Ableton Live for the first time. Also using Arturia Audio Fuse sound interface device and along for the test ride is the OP-1 from Teenage Engineering.

Video covers a “warts and all” approach to connecting, troubleshooting fixing problems on the go – seeing what is required. A first test – and it had it’s issues! It all went OK in the end!

Testing out connections, audio settings, MIDI settings, recording audio and MIDI tracks and testing playpack. CPU usage and memory issues were minimal!

I have to admit, I’m impressed with the Surface as a recording platform – it is a lot more capable than I was thinking!
