To my surprise, this is a fantastic little synth. Critics are wrong – this is an exceptional bit of gear and very much value for money. The sound quality is top notch. The analog part is extremely impressive. The digital parts are expected – and offer the latest in Roland’s SuperNatural gear.
Notice mine is white? Yep – I didn’t like the black, and was so happy they brought out this limited edition version.
The 2nd boutique synth I purchased. The Roland JX-03 is a clone of the vintage Roland JX-3P. The great thing about this synth is that it has the PG-200 built-in. I would love it if Roland could implement MIDI CC out on this …
